State Scholarship Program
The Education Freedom Account (EFA) Program provides parents with direct access to education funds, enabling them to choose the learning environment and resources that best suit their child's needs > New Hampshire EFA Details
Multi-family Microschools
- Families pay out of pocket via monthly subscription
- Monthly cost to families is $219.90 per student, per month (plus additional fee set by guide)
- Families qualifying for EFA can be fully or partially reimbursed
- Guides are paid monthly
Single-family Microschools
- Families pay $2,199 per student, per year
- Prenda invoices families quarterly

Start My MicroschoolPrenda partners directly with the New Hampshire Department of Education. This option is only available through the 23-24 school year.
NHDOE Community Learning Pod:
• No charges or fees for families
• Students must be designated as homeschoolers to the state of New Hampshire (no special education support is provided)
• Guides work with Prenda as independent contractors and are paid by Prenda based on the number of students in their learning pod
• Benchmark assessments 3x per year
• Attendance and hours minimums must be met
• Limited flexibility in curriculum options, must use Prenda provided resources
• Multi-family Microschool only; Single-family microschool option unavailable
NHDOE District Learning Pod:
• Students must be enrolled in a participating district
• No charges or fees for families
• State testing is required
• Attendance tracking required
• Attendance minimums must be met
• Special Education Services are provided
• All other district requirements must be met (varies by district)
• Guides work with Prenda as independent contractors or may be employed by the participating district
• Multi-family Microschool only; Single-family microschool option unavailable
