Learning with Prenda
The Prenda Learning Experience not only empowers kids to become engaged learners, it empowers the adults who support them with the right balance of structure and flexibility.
As a new Prenda Platform parent, you will go through an onboarding process to understand Prenda’s learning model and set up a daily schedule that works for you and your child. You’ll also get access to a curated set of online learning tools, printable materials, and a library of project-based lessons.
Student progress
We’ve always prioritized self-paced mastery, problem-solving abilities, mindset, and overall student experience over a letter grade, but we haven’t thrown out the book either. As a Prenda Platform parent, you get to choose whether or not you would like your child to participate in assessments.
Prenda offers an adaptive diagnostic testing tool to help place students in their online learning tools and monitor their progress throughout the school year. The goal is for students to always be working at their learning frontier—that sweet spot between too easy and too difficult.

Community
Deciding to educate your child at home is the first step in your Prenda journey, but we want to remind you that this isn’t a solo mission. Many other parents, like you, have joined our community and we want to connect you with them.
When you become a Prenda Platform parent, you’ll be invited to join our Prenda Parent Facebook group. Many share stories, exchange ideas, ask questions, and even arrange field trips. Prenda also uses this tool to keep parents informed, share exciting news, and post about upcoming events.
Support
Our team provides ample support during your first 30 days to ensure that you and your child are getting into a rhythm and feeling successful. We’ll still be here long after that first month though.
