Howard is the author of 15 books, including Transforming the Difficult Child, a longstanding bestseller on intense and challenging children. The Nurtured Heart Approach has been researched by Rutgers University, the University of Arizona’s School of Public Health, and New Mexico State University. He currently teaches at the University of Arizona’s School of Public Health and its Integrative Medicine Program.
